These Anvil Loppers are perfect for cutting hardier or dead wood. The blade closes against an anvil block on the lower jaw, which does not provide as clean a cut as bypass, but helps to reduce strain on the arms during use. These loppers are easy to use for both beginners and professionals as they feature new cutting head technology which effectively quadruples the amount of force applied to the branch when cutting.
